Outreach Appreciation:
Thank You for Putting Your Faith in Action!
- Linda Thede, who has volunteered to be our FOC liaison to Reclaiming Hope. We met with the Director of Reclaiming Hope last month, and Linda has great ideas about how to move forward. The ministry of Reclaiming Hope journeys with survivors of sex trafficking to discover hope. One way they do this is by filling Hope Bags, which contain new clothing, hygiene items, a blanket, comfort items snacks, and a personal note. These bags are distributed through law enforcement partners at the point of recovery. In 2021 they delivered 385 bags.  In 2022 they have already more than doubled that amount, giving away 798 so far. They are also able to house 2 victims, and they have a wonderful mentorship program.

- Everyone who donated items to the Snack Pack Drive. We delivered 270 pounds of snacks to Tri-Lakes Cares. They were so grateful!

- John & Julie Curtiss, who packed nearly 400 Snack Packs for TLC!
That same night, Julie was asked to speak at the TLC board meeting. She told them how much we appreciate all they do for the committee and how grateful we are to partner with them in their mission. They were equally as grateful to FOC for our continued support.

- Dawn Bath, Wanda Moore, Harry Moore, and Julie Curtiss for helping SALT assist the CDC teachers. We have been doing a ton of cutting and pasting to make sentences. And cutting out letters.

- Stitched With Love for making AMAZING items for our many ministries we support, including our newest one, Reclaiming Hope.
Please contact either Julie Curtiss -  or NancyJo Houk -  if you know of a need our Outreach Team might be able to help with.
