“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” ” ~ Mark 10:45
The Outreach Team at Family of Christ is staying active and keeping busy doing a variety of projects! Thank you for serving alongside our ministry and sharing God's love with our community.
March was incredibly busy, which means we have a lot of people to thank! So, much love and gratitude to...
Everyone who brought suitcases and other items to support the Cases of Love Drive! We collected so many suitcases we ran out of room to store them at church! Special thanks to Zeda Thomas for using her Thrivent Action Card to purchase three Pack ‘n Plays and bedding for them, and to John and Julie Curtiss for storing all the overflow at their home.
Our CDC Kiddos for helping with our Senior Notecard Project by coloring pictures to be delivered with the March cards to seniors at Jackson Creek Assisted Living & Bethesda Memory Care Center – and to Karen Moody for facilitating the effort!
Linda Thede for coordinating the collection of food for 65 Easter meals to be distributed to families through Tri-Lakes Cares and for using her Thrivent Action Card to buy healthy snacks for the Tri-Lakes Cares Snack Pack Program.
Marlene Schulze for organizing the delivery of Broken Bones BBQ to Ronald McDonald House and for those who contributed – Rae Berg, the Schulzes, the Creedons, the Caveras, and the Sandals.
Zeda Thomas and Marlene Schulze for coordinating the Easter card signing and bagging of candy for delivery to Jackson Creek & Bethesda.
All who volunteered for the Easter Egg Hunt! We had an incredible turnout.
