DECEMBER IMPACT

Brown Bag Lunch for Tri-Lakes Cares Staff
Wanda Moore and Julie Curtiss delivered a Thank You brown bag lunch to the volunteers at Tri-Lakes Cares on November 16. We know how hard the staff at TLC works all year long, providing a variety of supplies and services to our community.  We want them to know just how much they are appreciated!

Upcoming Outreach Opportunities

Tri-Lakes Cares District 38 Weekend Snack Pack Program
Thanks to Allen & Kathleen Van Wyhe, Dennis & Susan Dong, Gary & Anita Muelling, and Terry & Amy Abernathy for packing weekend snack packs for District 38 kids in the free or reduced lunch program in November. This work can be the difference between kids being hungry on the weekend or having food to eat until they return to school on Monday. We are looking for more volunteers to help with packing snacks in 2021!

Volunteers are needed for packing snacks at Tri-Lakes Cares on the following dates:
January 19 – 5 volunteers needed
March 2 – 5 volunteers needed
April 20 – 5 volunteers needed

Please contact Julie Curtiss -  if you can volunteer during any of those days!

Senior Notecard Project
A big thank you to the volunteers who helped with the Senior Notecard Project! In November, they provided notecards to 55 residents at Bethesda Gardens Assisted Care Facility and to 115 residents at Jackson Creek Senior Living. In December, we will be sending Christmas cards to the residents. They will be doing this project during the first week of every month, so please contact Zeda Thomas - if you would like to volunteer and/or if you have a few spare Christmas cards you would like to donate!
