Here at Family of Christ, we care about every aspect of your life. Not only do we want to help you grow in your relationship with the Lord, but we want to walk you through baptisms, weddings, funerals, and everything in between! 

Baptisms

In the water of baptism, God comes to us by His Holy Spirit. He adopts us into His family. We are baptized into His name, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He claims us as His own dear children and promises to always love and bless us.
Baptism is given in one of two ways; those who can receive instruction are baptized after they have been instructed in the Christian faith. Little children are baptized first and given instruction to teach them what was done for them in their baptism. The blessings of baptism are ongoing. As we daily turn from sin and remember what God has done for us in and through baptism (forgiven us all our sin and made us part of God’s family of faith), the Holy Spirit continues to strengthen and encourage us in our life of faith. Weddings

We are so excited to serve you during the process of marriage and wedding planning. We offer many resources and much support in helping you plan and execute your rehearsal and wedding.
FOC believes in traditional marriage, as defined by the Word of God, and as such, we will perform wedding ceremonies - which are worship services - in accordance with these Scriptural principles.

Deposits and Fees
Please contact the Church Office at office@foccs.net to schedule a deposit and fee consultation that will address the specific needs of your wedding.
 
Holidays and Weddings
Weddings and rehearsals may not be scheduled on Easter weekend, Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the week following Christmas, New Year's Eve or New Year's Day.

Scheduling a Wedding at Family of Christ
All requests for weddings at Family of Christ are subject to approval based on our mission. Please review the following procedures as you move forward with scheduling a date for your wedding:
1. Please email the church office with your preferred wedding date and time. Please note, you cannot schedule a wedding more than one year in advance, and no less than three months before your desired date. Our staff will contact you to confirm availability. Confirmation does not guarantee the date for your wedding. The date will only be held when we receive your completed wedding application and the requested deposit.
2. Once we confirm your desired date is available, we will have you complete our Wedding Application. You will receive an email confirming that we've received your application and officially booked your date. Then you will be referred to one of our pastors to set up a meeting to discuss the church's policies.
3. It is required that all couples being married by a Pastor complete a premarital counseling course before marriage. Contact the Church Office for a list of recommendations.
4. During an agreed-upon time before your wedding date, our Wedding Coordinator will meet with you to discuss final details, including ceremony specifics, decorations, and production needs. The remaining fees are due no later than two weeks prior to your wedding date.

To Request A Pastor for an Off-Site Wedding
1. If you would like a Pastor to officiate your off-site wedding, please email the wedding details to the church office at office@foccs.net. The fee total will consider the following: time invested by FOC Staff, travel, and accommodations.
2. You cannot schedule a Pastor to perform your ceremony more than one year ahead of time and must make your request no later than three months prior to your wedding date.
3. It is required that all couples being married by a Pastor complete a premarital counseling course before marriage. Contact the Church Office for a list of recommendations.

Funerals

We know funerals can be stressful, and we desire to serve and assist you during this time of loss. Our facility is available for funerals, but is limited to certain days and times of the week.
