Isaiah: Here I am Send Me

by Thomas Nelson

MUCH ABOUT CHRIST

Isaiah is the fullest revelation of Christ in the Old Testament - so much so that it is often called "the gospel according to Isaiah." At the same time, it is filled with content that Christians in today’s world can relate to. Isaiah's sixty-six chapters contain equal parts history and prophecy, judgment and redemption, sorrow and joy. Even the structure of the book – the number of chapters in Isaiah mirrors the number of books in the Bible – implies a mystery to be unraveled. Starting the Tuesday after Labor Day, the JEWELS Bible class will be seeking the answers to a number of intriguing questions, among them:

  1. What qualities make Isaiah worthy of being a prophet? Why does God choose him?
  2. What purpose does God's wrath serve in Isaiah? How does it fit with God's mercy?
  3. What does God mean when He tells Isaiah to preach to people in a way that will prevent them from understanding and being forgiven?
  4. What is redemption? How does Isaiah think that people can become redeemed?

You're invited to join the JEWELS group as they work through this 10-week study together. The Nelson Impact Bible Study series provides this in-depth Bible study on the book of Isaiah. This study is designed to help readers experience the true meaning of the messages, and in turn, empower them to truly make a difference in the world for Christ.

This study guide on Isaiah will provide a foundation for Bible study and encourage the readers to reference the Bible often. All necessary background information is given so that the readers need only a Bible and the study guide. The messages are thorough and clear, complimented by application questions to guide the readers into a deeper relationship with the Bible that will impact their lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ!

The study guide is required for this study, so if you have not already ordered your copy, contact Catherine Allen at 719.559.2556 or
