Marc Profant serves as our Director of Music Ministries. Prior to coming to Family of Christ originally in 2002, Marc served as Founding Pastor of Faith Community Church here in Colorado Springs. After a year in Florida as Teaching Pastor/ Worship Pastor at South Palm Community Church, Marc returned to FOC in 2004. Marc holds an undergraduate degree in Music Theory/Composition with emphasis in Piano and Vocal performance from Palm Beach Atlantic University as well as post under-graduate studies in Choral Conducting at Florida State University. Marc has also been the director of High School choral programs in Florida and Colorado as well as teaching in his own private vocal and piano studio. Marc released his debut contemporary worship album entitled "Mercy Calling" in 2002. Marc oversees every aspect of music ministry here at FOC from traditional to contemporary.

Amy Janisse serves as our Child Development Center Director

Amy earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

What a wonderful experience it has been since we opened the Child Development Center 10 years ago serving at Family of Christ!  Every day, I am given the opportunity to share my faith with the students, their families, my co-workers and friends.  I truly enjoy serving and am "Blessed by God" to work in the Christ centered loving atmosphere here at Family of Christ.  I really enjoy being a part of the excitement as these precious little ones learn new things daily.  Not only do I enjoy teaching, I also enjoy motorcycle riding, camping, dirt biking and four wheeling.

Wendy DeMatto has served as Office Administrator for Family of Christ since 2006. She covers the front office, along with her administrative assistant, Kristen, and coordinates a wonderful group of volunteers from the congregation. As a team, they work together to help make everything run smoothly. Wendy moved to Colorado Springs from Iowa, where she spent 20+ years as a teacher and then office manager at her home church in Iowa.  Wendy and her husband, Rick, enjoy sports (especially baseball), movies, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends & family.

Bonnie Hilstrom is our Children’s Ministry Leader. Bonnie loves children and Children’s Ministry and can sometimes be found wearing costumes around the church or being silly with the kids. Bonnie and her family moved to Colorado Springs last October from Austin, Texas. Bonnie grew up in New Mexico and California and did foreign exchange for a year in Argentina before going to college in New Mexico and then at The University of Texas at Austin. Bonnie and her husband Blake love the mountains and enjoy hiking, camping, and mountain biking. They also enjoy reading, watching movies, playing Wii, gardening and playing with their kids. Blake and Bonnie have a son Cory born in April 2005 and a daughter Anna born in April 2008 who they love very much.

Jerry Hager is our Business Manager. Jerry is retired from both the Air Force and industry and now works almost full time at the church. Jerry helps out with a variety of tasks, e.g, paying bills, and coordinating numerous special projects.

Sharon Monteleone serves as the accountant for both the church and the Child Development Center. She keeps track of all the financials and makes sure that all the bills are paid on time. Plus, she writes the paychecks, which makes her a very popular person around the office!

Kristen Burghard serves as our Administrative Assistant.  She serves part time in the church office with Wendy ensuring the needs of the church and its’ members are taken care of.  Kristen's husband Darrell is an instructor at the Air Force Academy.  They have three sons, a yellow Labrador, and fish!  Kristen enjoys reading, looks forward to family night on Friday with all her boys, loves taking nature photography, and is a student of God's Word and family ancestry.

Howard R. Slavens: A Charter Member who served as project coordinator for the original construction of Family of Christ.  He retired from Qwest as a Project Manger in 1995 and is presently a Electrical Contractor.  He is responsible for for the overall maintenance of the property and serves as an advisor on matters concerning the facility.  He works closely with the Business Manager and other Staff Members in an effort to meet the maintenance and special request to maintain the physical functionality of the CDC and Church.
